Itinerary

Day 1:   Amman Airport – Amman

Meet and great up on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport by Jordan Experience representative. Then, By Modern A/C car drive to your hotel in Amman for Check inn & hand your Rental car. Overnight at hotel.

Day2: City Tour of Amman – Desert Castles – Amman

After breakfast,  pick up your car and start the day by the visit of Amman to explore the capital and the largest city of Jordan. It is the country’s political, cultural and commercial centre and one of the well-known cities for thousands of years ago, which was called Rabbat Ammoun, Here you will visit the Citadel, the Roman ruins, and the Roman theatre in the most active center of the city, King Abdullah Mosque (outside visit), Then, you will have free time to walk in the city or visit the Souq.

Then, drive to visit the Desert Castles. They stand as silent and impressive evidence of Jordan’s rich history. Today you shall see three of the best-preserved desert castles. Qasr al-Kharaneh is the largest and most richly decorated Ummayyad castle in Jordan. It’s a large, square fortress, surrounded by walls with circular towers on every side. Qusayr Amra Its interior walls and ceilings are covered with lively frescoes and two of its rooms are paved with colorful mosaics. Qasr al-Azraq is built in black basalt.

Day 3: Amman – Jerash – Ajlun – Amman

Drive to visit Jerash the Pompeii of the East You will enter Jerash through the monumental South Gate and find you wandering around in a Roman city. You will walk in the Oval Plaza surrounded by colonnades, visit the Roman theatre and Byzantine churches with mosaic-covered floors. Enjoy a stroll along Jerash’ main road the Cardo and pass by the Nymphaeum. You may experience the marvellous acoustics of the theatre, the stage of the Jerash music festival which takes place every year. And see for yourself how the Romans built the earthquake-proof columns of the colonnaded streets.

Then, drive to the castle of Ajlun is another highlight of northern Jordan. The Qalat er-Rabad, as the Ajlun Castle is locally knwon, was the base of the Arab forces of Saladin, when he defeated the Crusaders in the 12th century. Back to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 4: Amman – Madaba – Nebo – Kerak – Petra

After breakfast,  drive to visit Madaba, Just 30 kilometers from Amman, along the 5,000-year-old Kings´ Highway, is one of the most memorable places in the Holy Land. Best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of vividly colored local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta.

Then Drive to Mount Nebo, place where Moses looked over the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. That is the place where Moses was seen for the last time; therefore we consider this place as burial place for Moses. You can visit here the memorial church of Moses. If the sky is clear Jerusalem, Jericho and Bethlehem will meet your eye at the other side of the Dead Sea.

Drive Kings Way to Petra, in way stop for visit Kerak is 130 km to the south of Amman. It is 930 meters above sea level, on a mountain that overlooks the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Karak is a very old city and its name was mentioned in the Old Testament. It played a great part during the reign of Mesha’ , the King of Moab. Proceed to Petra for overnight at hotel.

Day 4: visit Petra – Wadi Rum

After breakfast, Get ready for 02 days visit of Petra, there is no visit of Jordan will be complete without having seen the capital of the ancient Nabatean kingdom, Petra. The long-lost city of Petra, carved entirely by man into the rose-red sandstone rocks, puts your imagination to the test. Its aMystic and glorious place, an eternal tribute to a lost civilization. Petra was the central meeting point of the Nabatean spice routes which originated from the Persian Gulf, Western Arabia and the Red Sea. About two thousand years ago Petra became the capital of the Nabatean Empire. The city was so renowned that one of its kings, Aretas IV, is even mentioned in the Bible. The natural richness of the mountainous area combines in a superb way with the refined culture and massive architecture of the Nabateans, who carved their theatre, temples, façades, tombs, monasteries, houses and roads entirely into the rose-red sandstone rocks. No wonder UNESCO placed Petra on its World Heritage List one enters Petra by passing the Siq, a deep and narrow gorge, at the end of which all of a sudden dramatically appears the most famous monument in P etra: al-Khazneh or the Treasury. Maybe you will recognize it as the stage of the final sequence of the movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. But the Treasury is just the start. Walking and climbing in Petra hundreds of buildings carved in stone and eroded through the centuries into fabulous multi-colored walls will be revealed to you. Then drive to Wadi Rum, for dinner & overnight in Camp

Day 5: Wadi Rum – Aqaba

After breakfast,  visit Wadi Rum, a journey to another world, a silent and timeless place where you will be dwarfed to insignificance. ‘Vast, echoing and Godlike’, that’s how Lawrence of Arabia described. The uniquely shaped massive mountains rise out of the rose- red desert sand. Safari life with the 2 hours 4×4 Jeep to be leaded by the Bedouins.

Then, drive to Aqaba. The largest city on the Gulf of Aqaba and Jordan’s only coastal city, it’s dedicated for relaxation, water sports, and winter warmth, Aqaba is warm, sunny and inviting, fringed with palm trees, lapped by the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Aqaba, cooled by a steady northerly breeze, and ringed by mountains that change in colour with the change of the hours. Rest of the day will be free at the guests’ disposal dedicated for relaxation and Swimming in the port of Jordan to the Red Sea. Overnight at hotel in Aqaba.

Day 6: Aqaba Free day

After breakfast, Enjoy your free day in Aqaba. Overnight at hotel in Aqaba

Day 7: Aqaba – Dead Sea

After breakfast,  Drive to DeadSea, the lowest point on earth its surface and shore s are 423 meters below sea level. You will have the possibility to swim in Dead Sea where you will experience a rare floating sensation while giving your skin a beauty treats.

Put yourself to sink into the waves of the sea treat without, have a massage or try out the healing properties of mineral mud on the skin Check in hotel for overnight.

Day 8: Dead Sea– Amman Airport

After breakfast, meet our representative again at the hotel and drive to Amman Airport for final departure
